When I set the HEMI back 1-1/8” and raised it higher than stock, I discovered my factory draglink wouldn’t fit through the oil pan hole. The drop in the link was causing interference. So, I cut out the dropped section of the link and welded the ends to a length of 1-1/4” diameter .120 wall DOM steel tube. Before I cut the draglink apart, I first marked the 4 holes onto a piece of 2x2 square steel tubing to use as a welding fixture. Using this fixture, I tack welded the ends to the round tube, and took it to a local welding shop for some super strong welds. It fits and works great!
